The Parent Partnership Service is provided by Markfield, an independent charity based in
Tottenham which promotes rights, independence, choice and inclusion for Disabled people and their families.
We are a confidential service and can:
- Listen to parents’ concerns and
- queries and advise you on Special
- Educational Needs (SEN) procedures;
- Help you to get your views and the
- views of your child known,
- understood and valued;
- Assist with preparation for meetings
- (such as annual reviews) and possibly
- go with you to meetings;
- Help you to write reports or letters;
- Help you look at all the options and
- make informed decisions;
- Look at ways of overcoming
- differences between parents, schools
- and the local authority;
- Put you in touch with other sources of
- help and information.
