Merton PPS
Merton Parent Partnership Service provides free impartial support, advice and training to parents of children with special educational needs and those at risk of exclusion.
We aim to help parents and carers to be able to participate and make informed choices. We can provide parents and carers with prcatical support in terms of attendance at meetings, assistance in writing represenatations, school visits and local disagreement resolution.
The Service works closely with schools, local voluntary groups and the local authority to help develop positive relationships with parents and carers and in so doing reduce exclusion,raise pupil achievement and parental confidence.
Connexions PA's are also based within the service and able to give advice to young people and their families. In addition to this we have close links with the Choices Adviser.
