Oldham Parent Partnership Service is there to help you.
How does partnership help?
The service offers impartial and confidential parental support to enable parents of children who have special or additional educational needs to become full and effective partners in the identification and assessment of the child’s educational needs and the provision required to meet their needs in school.
Who does the service help?
Parents and carers of children aged 2-19 in education.
It also supports those who work with these children.
How does the service work?
The service supports families of children with special needs.
All calls to the service are confidential.
Options include :
- Drop-In Sessions at 4 locations each month – Appointments not required.
- Access to various sources of independent support
- Providing ways to resolve disputes or disagreements
- Working out an action plan with parents
- Home visits arranged in specific circumstances
The service is not restricted to parents. Anyone who has involvement with children who have additional educational needs can contact the service.
