Information, Support and Training for Parents and Carers of Children with Special Educational Needs in Cornwall
Our Aims:
- To give you independent information, support and training
- To help you make informed choices about your child’s education
- To encourage closer working relationships between you, your child’s school, the Children’s Services Authority and other agencies
- To support schools in continuing to develop good working practices with parents
We can:
- Provide confidential information and support through our telephone helplines
- Provide support at meetings
- lSignpost you to other services
- Provide a trained volunteer to support you in matters concerning your child’s needs
- Offer training opportunities for parents and professionals
- Help with support for parent groups
- Provide access to an impartial disagreement resolution service
