About Walsall PPS:

Walsall PPS is line managed in-house i.e. by Walsall Council whereas the majority of other education functions are managed in partnership with Serco Ltd.

We are completely independent of the SEN decision-makers thus enabling us to provide free, impartial and confidential advice.

We have a Steering Group that has a parent Chair and consists largely of parents/carers as well as has representatives from special, primary and secondary schools. The PPS line manager and representative of Serco Ltd are also members.

The steering group works with the PPS and the local authority to challenge the policy, practice and development of the PPS.
