1. What is NAPPS?
NAPPS is the National organisation that represents the needs of Parent Partnership Staff across England and Wales.
2. What is the difference between NAPPS and NPPN?
NAPPS focuses on the needs of Parent Partnership staff. It is run by Parent Partnership staff. It focuses on issues such as:-
- Professional Development
- Staff progression, pay and conditions both locally and nationally
- NAPPS organises conferences related to Staff Development.
- A management committee made up of Regional Parent Partnership Services representatives meets termly to consider issues related to Parent Partnership Services across the country.
3. Complicated?
No not really! Just remember that NAPPS represents the interests and development of individual Parent Partnership staff and is run by Parent Partnership staff from the Regions.
NAPPS and NPPN work closely together, support each other and ensure that there is no duplication.
